Why do wealthy people like Mark Zuckerberg live simple lives even though they can afford almost anything they want?

I wonder what is simple live means for you:

Simple in dress does not mean simple in anything else.

Mark Zuckerberg spent almost $60 million on 2 waterfront estates in Tahoe. He own 10 properties across the US, from a modest Palo Alto home to a Hawaiian plantation.

He has properties in Palo Alto, California; San Francisco; Lake Tahoe; and Kauai Island, Hawaii.

He tends to buy sorrounding properties to ensure privacy.

Not every luxury brand has big logo some T-shirt looks like 2$ even if its worth is 600$ or 1000$. That shirt is not the same shirt that you buy.

So I definitely wonder what is simple means for you.
